The name carries two meanings. S traces the shape of Vietnam on a map – a long, curved strip of land – and echoes the same curve in a woman’s silhouette and the natural wave of her hair. 5 stands for the five continents our hair reaches: Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.
We built the name around one idea: bring out beauty through hair, for women everywhere, on their own terms. There’s no single standard to measure up to – just the confidence to shine in your own way
Our current focus is raw hair and bulk hair for buyers who process, color, or construct their own finished products – braiding hair, wig-making, or a private-label line. Straight textures are our primary line, available in single, double, and super double drawn specs depending on your order.
5S Hair is manufactured at our own facility in Bac Ninh province and managed from our Hanoi office – we are not a trading company reselling hair sourced elsewhere. Factory visits are welcome year-round. If you’re placing a large order, seeing the floor in person or on a video call is the most reliable way to confirm who you’re actually buying from.
Quality control isn’t a single checkpoint at the end – it happens at each stage of production. Hair is sorted by donor early on, so cuticles stay aligned in one direction all the way through. From there it’s graded, weighed, and drawn to spec, then checked once more for shedding and tangling before anything gets packed for shipping.
Five things worth asking any supplier – including us.
A manufacturer with nothing to hide can show you the production floor in real time, not just photos. If a supplier stalls on a video walkthrough, or only sends images that could be from anywhere, treat that as a reason to ask more before sending money.
A sample tells you more than a spec sheet. Wash it, wear it for a few days, and see how it holds up — shedding, tangling, or fading after one wash usually shows up early, before you’ve committed to a container-sized order.
Run your fingers down a strand root to tip, then tip to root. Aligned cuticles move smoothly one way and catch slightly the other – that’s normal. Tangling both directions, or bundles that feel different from one another, can mean the hair isn’t from a single donor.
Single, double, and super double drawn change how much shorter hair is blended in – affecting fullness at the ends and price. Get the exact spec written into your order confirmation; a verbal agreement is hard to enforce if what arrives doesn’t match.
Before you pay, know what happens if something’s wrong: how long you have to report an issue, what counts as valid proof, who covers return shipping, and whether you get a replacement or a refund. A policy that only exists as a verbal promise isn’t a policy.

Before the hair industry, he built a background in entrepreneurship that now shapes how the factory is run today — with an emphasis on consistency and long-term buyer relationships over one-off sales.

Yes. Factory visits are welcome year-round, and we can also arrange a video call walkthrough for buyers who can’t travel to Vietnam.
We accept bank transfer, Western Union, and Onepay (Visa/Mastercard) for most markets, plus local agent accounts for buyers who can’t pay directly in USD. For larger orders, a deposit of 30–50% of the order value secures production, with the balance due before shipping. If an order doesn’t match what was agreed, it’s handled under our written exchange and assurance policy, not negotiated case by case.
We currently export to wholesale buyers across the Americas, Europe, and Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, the US, and the UK.
